About
I am an associate professor of education at Gratz College where I teach courses in creativity, leadership, and the history of education.
I am also an artist and a writer. In Philadelphia I have shown work in group shows at the Old City Jewish Arts Center and the William Way Center. I have also done performance art in venues across the city including The Ethical Society (in Rittenhouse), The Community Education Center (West Phila) and even Tattooed Moms bar (South Phila). Most recently I have been collaborating on some music videos for artist George Alley.
My writing has often been about interesting people, including essays on visual artist Ray Johnson, Hollywood icon Sal Mineo, and punk musician Darby Crash for the Gay & Lesbian Review.
My book about American philosopher John Dewey was published in October 2024
